Absolutely loved this place! Food was amazing! People were friendly, respectful, and helpful! I had never never been here before and glad I gave it a try. Family owned and operated! They even let me try a sample of food to know if I'd like it. update: jad the chicken fried chicken and it was so moist and melt in your mouth delicious

We love it here, all the staff is fantastic and Ms Virginia who is in her 90s is here almost every day. Great home cooked food, not a fancy place but fantastic food every single time! Never had anything on the menu I didn’t enjoy, great value as well.

Such a great place for breakfast. Everything is "homemade" and tastes like it. We had huge portions and the price was great. Julia was an amazing server and she was so friendly, funny and helpful when we asked what to order.

The waitress we had is Virginia’s daughter. The service was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was great and the food was homemade. We will be returning and making this place a regular stop. I had the hillbilly and it was so good. Found a place that feels like home.

Seriously the best food. It felt like I was a kid again eating at my grandmas house. Our waitress was so awesome. Brought me the food and said “if you don’t like it let us know and we’ll cook you something else”

We both had breakfast - it was very good. Our waitress, Jessica, was outstanding. We met the owner Christy and her husband Paul, Christy’s mom (who just happened to be there also!) started the restaurant years ago. I love good, locally owned restaurants, and this one has good home cooking! We will add it to our loop!

One of my favorite restaurants in Edmond. There is nowhere else in the city with food this comfortable and homely, and at an exceptionally fair price. I mostly get their lunch items, such as the roast beef, or chicken nuggets. The servers can get busy, so if you need something, you might have to wave someone down and ask for it. Despite that, the folks here are as kind and friendly as you could ask for. Julia and Jessica in particular really bring the whole place together. The atmosphere of the building itself isn't anything to write home about, but the people inside more than make up for it. The walls and floor are plain, and you can tell the building wasn't made to fit a restaurant, but they've done a fantastic job making it work regardless. The food and friendly folks are why you would come here, rather than the interior. There are a handful of Republican-leaning bits of decor, but as a more left-leaning individual, I've never felt othered or judged by the staff themselves, which to me is what's important. Overall, if you're looking for a local business to support instead of going down to IHOP, I highly recommend checking them out.
